Francis & Francis LTD was formed in 1986 when it was recognised that there was scarcity of professional mechanical and electrical engineering services available locally. It was built on the foundation of a machine shop operated by it's Senior Director Mr.Fitz Francis which began operation in 1957.

Initially, the Company concentrated mainly on providing services in the areas of a Mechanical and Electrical installation plant and equipment repair services, metal fabrication and machine shop work whilst concentrating less on consultancy services.Once it was determined that the company has consolidated its position in those initially chosen areas of engineering and technical activities, other areas were considered for venture purposes.

In 1990, the engineering base of the company was strengthened to permit it to venture into full scale in Mechanical and Electrical Consultancy in a more meaningful and complete manner. In this capacity the Company has been engaged in carrying out engineering and technical work for local clients. Past Consultancy Projects

In 1992, the company proceeded to further broaden and strengthen its operational base by concentrating on other areas of technical activities which include:

Procurement of material and spare parts.

Complete engineering and design.

Valuation of plant and equipment.

Investigation of technical faults in equipment and installation and preparation of proposal for carrying out the necessary remedial work.

Safety and risk reduction management services.

Power and utility requirement assessment.

In recent times, the company has also been forging close links and forming affiliations with international suppliers of engineering services, equipment, materials and spare parts.
